Don't Really Know What I Was Thinking
I suppose it is a little ironic that I placed a picture of Moses holding up the tablets of stone that contained the ten commandments on a post that featured a summary of new covenant theology. The picture certainly does not match the post!!
Haha. That is quite ironic. However, the content of the post was wonderful. Thanks for articulating these issues in such a clear manner, it certainly helps my conviction according to God's word. I think I may have a few questions, but I'm going to save them for later after I think about them a bit longer.

"Biblical Theology" Book Recommendation
Written in a scholarly fashion, yet short, this book addresses how the Old Testament fits together with the New Testament. It is excellent. Click on picture to order today.
"Good as Supplemental to Our Small Group Studies in John" Recommendation
Need I say anything- its MacArthur! Jesus is simply not the wimpy man that is often portrayed by people who don't bother to read their Bibles. He was bold and even confrontational when it came to defending the most important thing in the world- the Gospel. MacArthur portrays a Biblical Jesus- a Jesus you can't ignore. "A Must Read" Book Recommendation
John Calvin stands in history as one of the greatest and most courageous proponents of the doctrines of grace. The Institutes was his most popular work. This is a classic work that every Christian ought to take time to read! This particular edition (edited by Lane and Osborne) is an excellent translation, making it much more readable.
